About Us

Christ the King Convent School, Sujanpur, Pathankot was established in 1996 by the Diocese of Jalandhar under the patronage and guidance of Rt. Rev. Dr. Symphorian Keeprath, the then Bishop of Diocese of Jalandhar and through the sustained efforts and hard work of its first Director (Director’s Name). The patron of the school is Rt. Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal, the present Bishop of Diocese of Jalandhar and the President of Diocese of Jalandhar, a registered charitable society.

Although it is run by a minority Christian community with the primary objective of serving the minority Christian community, admission of the school is open to the boys and girls of all the communities of all religions, caste and creed and every student is encouraged to admire, and practice his/her own religion.

The emblem of Christ the King Convent School echoes the mission of Christ and is depicted in the motto “Come, Learn and Serve”. The ribbon and the inscription on it represent the school as an instrument of learning. The ribbon that encircles the word of knowledge unfolds itself and ascends to the unique King of the universe in a symbolic manner to embody this house of learning. The globe denotes the world of today. The books represent the medium of learning, but taking inspiration from the revealed word of God, The Bible as their center.

The school has its heavenly Patron “CHRIST THE KING, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD”
